General Application Timeline (for 2025 intake):

  • Applications typically open around April 1st and close around October 31st of the preceding year.

How to Apply (for 2025 intake):

There are two ways to apply to University of Johannesburg :

  1. Online Application (Recommended):

    • Visit the UJ website: https://www.uj.ac.za/
    • Click on “Apply Now” or navigate to the “Apply” section.
    • Choose “New Applicant” and the academic year (2025).
    • Select “Curricular Course” (undergraduate program).
    • Choose your faculty and program of interest.
