Tshwane North College Application Status Check

One of the 50 TVET colleges in South Africa, has recently commenced accepting online applications for Trimester and Semester studies. The application window will remain open until March end.

Interested individuals can apply for courses such as Business Studies N4 Semester 2, Social & Utilities Studies N4 Semester 2, and Engineering Studies N4 Trimester. It is advisable to submit your application promptly, as late applications will not be accepted by the college.

Application Apply Process –

To begin your application process, visit the Tshwane North TVET College website. Once you are on the website, a pop-up window will appear on your screen. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button in the pop-up window.

If you already have a student number, you can proceed to log in. However, if you do not have a student number, click on ‘Apply’ in the ‘Prospective Students’ box.

Follow the instructions provided on the website. Make sure to upload all the required supporting documents. These documents include a certified copy of your ID, a certified copy of your matric results, and a proof of residence. Please note that emailed documents will not be considered.

After completing the application, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the necessary information about your application.

It is important to note that applicants are only allowed to apply for one programme per enrolment period, as stated by TNC.

If you have any inquiries regarding funding for your chosen qualification, it is recommended to contact the TVET college bursary offices and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme.

Lastly, please be aware that there are no application or administrative fees for enrolment at TNC.

Application Documents Required –

  • Show evidence of payment of application fee
  • Submit essential documents like a Valid ID, certified Results or certificate
  • Include IDs of parents and/or guardian or death certificate if applicable
  • Attach Municipal billing document/other account statements (dated within the last 3 months)
  • International students should include their passport ID if applicable.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission –

Make sure you meet the necessary admission requirements before applying to Tshwane North TVET College. TVET Colleges in South Africa have lower entry requirements compared to Universities. Here are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill for a successful application:

1. Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification for NCV Courses
2. Grade 9 Certificate with a 50% pass in Mathematics for Engineering NCV Courses
3. Grade 10 with 50% in Mathematics OR Grade 11 with 40% in Mathematics for Engineering Nated Courses
4. Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent for Nated Courses
