The admission application form for individuals interested in enrolling at the Helderberg Training Society Rensburg for the academic year 2024-2025 is now accessible online through both the Helderberg Training Society Rensburg and the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

Training at Helderberg Training Society Rensburg is conducted in partnership with various private and state hospitals, as well as community facilities, enabling students to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our Educators and Registered Nurses.

Helderberg Training Centre Application Requirement

Employment Status: Applicants must be currently unemployed.

Residency: Applicants must be residing in the Western Cape for the entire duration of the course.

Citizenship: Only South African citizens are eligible to apply.

Educational Background: Applicants must have completed Grade 12 with an average of 50% for English. Having a background in Biology and Natural Science is advantageous.

Mathematics Proficiency: Basic mathematics skills are required and will be assessed during the application process.

Language Proficiency: Applicants must be fluent in English.

Prior Experience: Applicants must have successfully completed a caregiver course at an accredited institution and have at least 6 months of post-qualification experience.

How To Apply –

  • Please ensure that you complete the Application Form in its entirety. You have the option to either fill out the form online or print it and send it via email or postal service. 
  • If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive an invitation to participate in a Selection Test. In order to take the test, you must bring two certified copies of your Identification Document, Grade 12 qualification, and Statement of Symbols, along with a handling fee of R200.00. 
  • It is important to note that all relevant documents must be presented before you can sit for the test. To proceed to the next step, you must achieve a minimum score of 75%. 
  • Successful candidates who pass the test will then be invited to a Selection Interview. If you successfully complete the interview, you may receive a course placement offer. 
  • On the specified date, please report to the Helderberg Training Centre at 07:30 with all the required documentation and the handling fee. The address will be provided to you.

Fee Structure –

Below is the fee breakdown for Helderberg Training Centre:

Course Fees/Payments:

  • Total Fees: R 21,000.00 OR R20,000.00 if paid in full during registration.
  • Deposit: R 10,000.00.
  • Monthly Payment: The remaining balance of R11,000 must be paid in monthly installments over 4 months.

  • Class fees and training materials.
  • Examination fees.
  • Student card.
  • One uniform top.

Not Included:

  • Transportation to the facilities.
  • Indemnity.
  • Stationery.
