PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited, a leading Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power,  is seeking bright, committed, and energetic professionals in the disciplines of Environment Management, Social Management, HR, and PR for the position of Officer Trainee for the year 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Officer Trainee (Environment Management): Master’s degree in environmental science/ Natural Resource Management/ Environmental Engineering or equivalent with First Class.
   • Officer Trainee (Social Management): Master’s degree in social work with First Class.
   • Officer Trainee (Human Resource): Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma/ MBA in HR/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Social Work (specializing in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) with at least 60% marks.
   • Officer Trainee (PR): Graduate with full-time PG Degree/Diploma in Mass Communication/ Public Relations/ Journalism with 60% marks.
2. Age Limit:
   • Maximum 28 years as of December 24, 2024.
   • The Upper age relaxation – 03 years for OBC (NCL), 05 years for SC / ST and 10 years for PwBD

Monthly Salary (Pay Scale):

• Basic Pay of ₹ 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and perks @12% of basic pay during training period.
• On successful completion of training and upon regularization, the candidate will be absorbed as Officer in E2 scale – ₹ 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).

2. Application Fee: ₹500 for General/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM/DESM candidates are exempted from the fee.
3. Selection Process: Candidates must appear for the UGC-NET December 2024 examination in the relevant subject. Selection will be based on UGC-NET scores, followed by document verification, behavioral assessment, group discussion, personal interview, and a pre-employment medical examination.
