Starting in April 2023, Nelson Mandela University will accept online applications from students who want to enroll in the 2024/2025 academic year. This includes prospective undergraduate, graduate, and international students. It’s recommended that applicants submit their applications as early as they can.

Here are the deadlines for submitting online applications to Nelson Mandela University for the 2023 academic year:

• May 31, 2023, for MBChB applicants with the NBT (if applicable) to be written by no later than July 31, 2023.
• June 30, 2023, for Bachelor of Radiography (Diagnostic) applications.
• August 4, 2023, for early applications (excluding MBChB & BRad).
• September 30, 2023, for late applications (excluding MBChB & BRad).
• September 30, 2023, for student accommodation (On-Campus & Off-Campus) applications.
• September 30, 2023, for international student applications (excluding MBChB & BRad).

How To Apply For NMU Online Application 2024?

Here are the steps to apply for undergraduate or postgraduate programs at Nelson Mandela University:

• Login: Visit the official website www.nmu.ac.za and find the application portal. Use a laptop or tablet, not a mobile phone, to avoid delays.
• Personal Information: Complete all required fields and click “apply” at the bottom of the page. This step doesn’t mean your application is complete or that you’ll be considered for admission yet.
• Address Verification: Check your email, including the spam folder, for a verification message. Once verified, you’ll receive another email with a link for the next stage of the application, along with your student number and pin.
• Application Details: Click the link in the email, enter your student number and pin, and complete all required fields (highlighted in red). Optional fields are highlighted in yellow, and fields marked in green require no action.
• Upload Documents: Attach all required documents in PDF or JPEG format. You can also upload documents on the admissions dashboard after submitting your application.
• Submit Application: Once everything is complete, click “Final Submission” at the bottom of the page. After this, no changes can be made to your application.
