To apply for accommodation at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), use the same form you used to apply for your studies before October 31. Make sure to indicate “yes” when asked if you require university residence. This will be considered a valid application. It’s your responsibility to check the status of your accommodation application before arriving on campus.
If you fail to attend the university’s official orientation program, you will lose your accommodation.

Requirements For UWC Residence Application 2024
Before applying to the United World Colleges, make sure to visit their website to learn about the organization.
- Applicants must be born between August 1, 2005, and August 15, 2009, to be eligible.
- You need to provide a valid Tazkira and Afghan passport. Failing to do so will lead to disqualification.
- Your application must be your work. Any outside help will result in disqualification.
- Make sure to provide a valid email address and telephone number. Applications without clear contact information will be rejected.
- The entire application process is in English, so you must have a good understanding of the language.
