The East Central Railway (ECR) has announced the recruitment for Group ‘C’ posts under the Cultural Quota for the year 2024-25. This recruitment offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for cultural arts to join the Indian Railways.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC candidates
- 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed at least 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks or possess higher education. Additionally, they must hold a degree, diploma, or certificate in the relevant cultural discipline from a government-recognized institute.
- Desirable Qualifications: Experience in the field and performances aired on platforms like All India Radio (AIR) or Doordarshan, as well as national-level prizes, are advantageous.
Application Fee:
- ₹500 for General and OBC candidates
- ₹250 for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes
The fee should be paid through an Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favor of “PFA, East Central Railway” payable at Hajipur. Ensure the date of the IPO is on or after the date of the employment notice.
Selection Process:
Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc.
