To access the University of Fort Hare (UFH) Student Portal, follow these steps:
1. Visit the UFH Self Help iEnabler: This is the official portal for UFH students. You can locate it by searching for “UFH Self Help iEnabler” or by directly visiting [ienabler.ufh.ac.za/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login].
2. Login using your credentials: You will be required to enter your student number and PIN.
- Student Number: This is a unique identifier given to you by the university during registration.
- PIN: This is a 5-digit numeric code that you set up during the online application process. Remember, it should not begin with a 0.
Please note: If you have not applied or completed the online application process, you will not have a student number and PIN to access the portal.
In case you forget your PIN, you may have the option to recover it through the portal itself. Look for the “Forgot PIN” feature on the login page.

UFH Application Fee Structure –
University of Fort Hare UFH Student Portal application fee of R115 for online submissions and R185 for hard copy submissions upon receiving their student number from UFH.

2. International students: Please provide a copy of your passport number.

5. It is essential to have a valid personal email address. If you do not have one, please create an email account before proceeding with your online application.
6. Please ensure you have your latest school results, such as Grade 11 final or Grade 12 June or September results, or final school-leaving results. Note that Grade 12 March results will not be accepted.
7. Lastly, please provide a valid SA ID number or passport number.
