Sedcol Online Application For 2024-2025 Admission Open Now

The Sedibeng TVET College has activated the application/registration status portal for candidates applying for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, MBA short courses, distance learning, degree, doctorate, bachelor, master, and PhD programs. This portal allows candidates to check if they have been granted provisional admission to become official students of the Sedibeng TVET College.

Sedibeng Online Application Required Documents

Required Documents for Sedcol Online Application (Sedibeng):

• 1. Photocopy of your ID/passport. 
• 2. Certified copy of your National Senior/Matric Certificate or O/A Levels or relevant school leaving qualification/certificate. 
• 3. Proof from Universities South Africa (previously known as HESA), that you qualify for admission to degree studies at South African universities, if you are an international applicant.  
• 4. Certified copies of your degree certificate(s), academic record, and certificate of conduct, if you attended other universities. 
• 5. Proof of English proficiency for International applicants from non-English speaking countries. 
• 6. South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) evaluations if the previous qualification(s) was/were obtained at foreign universities (outside South Africa). 
• 7. A research proposal/proposed title of the dissertation/thesis if you are applying for a master’s Degree or PhD. 
• 8. A valid study visa to study in SA if you are an International applicant. 
• 9. Before applying online, please make sure that you have read the guidelines above. 
• 10. Please ensure that you have the USAF/SAQA documents to be uploaded to complete your application.

Education Criteria

Make sure you fulfill all requirements for the program you wish to pursue at Sedibeng TVET College. Entry requirements for TVET colleges are generally less strict compared to South African universities. A list of prerequisites is available for your reference.

• NCV Courses require a Grade 9 Certificate or its equivalent. 
• Engineering NCV Courses specifically need a Grade 9 Certificate with a minimum of 50% pass in Mathematics. 
• Engineering NATED Courses accept either a Grade 10 with at least 50% in Mathematics or a Grade 11 with a minimum of 40% in Mathematics. 
• NATED Courses, on the other hand, mandate a Grade 12 Certificate or an equivalent qualification.

  Afterward, proceed with the registration process to obtain your unique student number. 
• Calculate your APS score accordingly. 
• Choose your desired qualifications. Sedibeng TVET College (Sedcol) allows students to select two preferences. It is important to fill out both choices, but please note that you will only receive an offer for the preference in which you qualify. 
• Lastly, complete the remaining sections of the form by providing accurate and truthful information, and submit it. 
• Please ensure that all the information you provide is accurate. If any of the information is found to be false, Sedibeng TVET College (Sedcol) reserves the right to cancel your application immediately.
